  Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is around the corner. It’s the perfect opportunity to show employees, customers, and the community that your company cares in a meaningful way. To support this important healthcare campaign, here are a few promotional ideas.

  • Make October the month for pink office supplies. Use imprinted pink pencils, letter openers, or notepads throughout your workplace. This simple step reminds female employees to perform monthly self exams or, in the case of male employees, to have their female loved ones do so.
  • Outfit staff in company-logoed pink tees, caps, ties, or scarves. As customers come in and out of your business during the month, they’ll see your team’s active support of the cause. Add Breast Cancer Checklists or informational brochures to your counter so that customers can learn about the disease, prevention, and treatment.
  • Touch your customer base in a way that ties into your business. Many promotional product suppliers have licensed merchandise sporting the pink ribbon. Just type “Breast Cancer Awareness” in our Product Search and you will have access to thousands of these products. A book store could hand out pink ribbon bookmarks. A toy shop might give pink-and-white ribbon-imprinted beach balls. A salon or spa could distribute silver-plated compacts with screen-printed pink ribbons with a message of well-being. Whatever your business, there’s a product to relate positively to the campaign.
  • Support a local golf tournament fundraiser by sponsoring the golf balls. There are pink versions that can be imprinted with your corporate logo.

These are just a few suggestions highlighting some of the hundreds of product applications to carry a message of hope and health into the community. Give me a call at 212-868-1813 or send me an e-mail and I’ll happily discuss an approach to benefit your business, its employees, and clientele.
